COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:
The health & wellbeing of our guests, small team & remote vulnerable communities is at the forefront of planning & delivering your quality experiences to ensure you travel with confidence & know our team and your fellow adventurers are fully vaccinated. To safeguard what matters most, guests are required to be fully-vaccinated to enter the regions we tour in.
Our Team monitors the evolving situation closely & will make adaptations as required.
Northern Territory borders are open to fully-vaccinated travellers with approved Government vaccines. Please make sure you familiarise yourself with border entry requirements https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/ & prepare correct Check-in procedures before arrival including proof of full vaccination or valid exemption. If you are prevented from entering the Northern Territory preventing you from joining the tour, unfortunately no refund will be provided by NT Bird Specialists, as we will not be able to rebook your seat.
Non-vaccinated guests will need to fulfil Government requirements at the time of booking & travel.
Guests will need to Check-in at the start of tour & provide proof of vaccination or valid exemption at the time of booking. For valid exemption-holders, we will require a negative PCR test (or equivalent) within 72-hours before departure and a valid medical certificate. Case-by-case cancellation fees apply to positive tests. Where third party suppliers require all guests to be fully vaccinated, unfortunately non-vaccinated guests cannot participate.
Guests will need to notify us of their vaccination status at least 90 days prior to tour departure. If unvaccinated, guests may choose to f receive a Future Tour Credit or forfeit the commitment deposit and their space will become available on the tour. If we are not notified of vaccination status we have the right to cancel the booking and payments will be forfeited.
