Luke Paterson joined the NT Bird Specialists team in 2007 and the bird story now becomes his!
After operating NT Bird Specialists since 1999, it is time for Mike and Gina to hand over to Luke Paterson. Luke is a terrific person , an acclaimed bird and nature guide and has a great future in sharing the wonders of the bird life and natural environments of the Northern Territory, especially the Top End, and the Kimberley in Western Australia.
We wish to thank Luke for his guiding expertise over the last seven years and wish him well in his new ventures. We take this opportunity to thank all our valued clients, friends and mentors for their input to our life experiences. We have many stories to tell and we can be found at our home, Eastwood Farm, in Gympie, Queensland when the stories need to be shared again. If you are returning to the Top End for more birding, Luke will be the guide to show you around again.

Luke Paterson, guide and business partner of NT Bird Specialists, has won the Brolga Award for the Outstanding Interpretative Guide for the Northern Territory for 2010. Luke had a wonderful year sharing the Top End birds with birders from all over the world.
With great demand for Luke’s excellent services we look forward to many new visitors coming to share the amazing environments and birds of the Northern Territory over the coming years.
