Darwin’s urban landscapes retain an array of habitats for an abundance of birds and wildlife to flourish in.
Come and “Sticky Beak” around Darwin’s mangroves, coastlines, tidal flats, monsoon vine forests, lagoons, tropical woodlands and floodplains with our expert local and knowledgeable guides. A quick probe over urban and rural bird life during a 1 day Darwin Bird Watching and/ or Photography Tour is a good way to whet your appetite for your next adventure with NT Bird Specialists. Photographers love this tour for views of Rufous Owl, Rainbow Pitta, kingfishers and when conditions permit, Chestnut Rail and Gouldian Finch.
Sites visited on the day will be tailored to the best local birding conditions and species of interest.
Two day tours in a row will visit different sites around Darwin and Fogg Dam in the Adelaide River region.
This tour starts and finishes in Darwin, Northern Territory. 8 hours, approximately 7am – 3pm depending on time of year. Please advise us of your pick up location when booking.
